So this is your first Con?

So this is your first convention? Mwaghaha ha ha!

Listen carefully child - this stuff might just save your life...

During the weekend you will be 'away' from normality. You will feel happy, tired, joyous, knackered, and have a big grin across your face (not for THAT reason! - well OK, that too!).

Conventions are a bit different to any one-day event you may have been to like the Brentford Bus Trip or the Rankin Riverboat Shuffle if you were fortunate enough to have attended them. You can't really explain why - they just are - okay?

You will be locked away in a hotel with hundreds of other like minded loonies who's only intention is to have a bloody great time, and lose it slightly!

One of the things you will also lose is time. The only problem with that is that the human/non human body requires certain things to function correctly (apart from alcohol) i.e. food. PLEASE remember to eat! We all know that you CAN survive on Cider & Guinness, but eating stops you collapsing and us having to get you medical attention. Oh yeah! Wear clean pants at all times, in case you collapse OR you get lucky! (you'll thank us for that one).
