What's the hotel like then?
It's terrible - seedy, dirty and smells of old people!
What do you think its like? The hotel is pretty ACE, with nice friendly people working there - honest - we met them. It's in a really good location with nice
green grass around it and an outdoor patio area with giant chessboard.  Your £50 per room (2 sharing) gets you nice
bed/beds with ensuite bathroom and inclusive buffet style breakfast. Also use of the mini gym if you can't think of any other more 'interesting' ways of working up a sweat! Your gonna
have your very own bar to drink in. And the staff are very helpful too!
We are taking over the area to the left once you're through the main hotel entrance. Where we will have a bar with discounted beer prices! And a few other rooms for
films and our art show.
What about food and DRINK?
Our 'private' discounted bar will be serving at a special agreed rate of £2.00 per pint between 12 noon and 12.30 am.  Please note that if you buy drinks from the main hotel bar at any time - then standard hotel prices will be charged
We wanted to get you the cheapest deal we could, and haven't done too bad.
During lunch times and afternoons, light snacks will be for sale between 12-3pm, which will include the likes of sandwiches, Ploughman's and Mini Pizzas.
Evening meals will be from £7 and will be things like lasagne and chilli con carne served with chips, salads, and jacket potatoes.
Shepperton itself isn't far away for restaurants... (More details next prog).
How do I book a room?
There are NO hotel booking forms for you to fill out.
Simply telephone the hotel on 01932 899988 to book your room, making sure you state that you are coming for the Aliens Stole My Handbag convention.  This will ensure you will pay the correct amount of £25 per person, per night based on two people sharing a double/twin room.
Single rooms are also available for £35 per night.
If you are on your own and would like to share, let us know and we will endeavour to hook you up with another soul, but no guarantees they aren't an axe murderer. And
don't worry if their feet smell, you won't spend much time in the room. And anyway, what do ya need a bed for? (Apart from THAT!).
The hotel are holding a limited number rooms free for us, up to a month before the con happens, so get yours booked now!
