This progress report should really be considered as a SURVIVAL MANUAL.

Well, that's probably not strictly correct, but we have organised quite a lot of stuff that will not only require you to be present, willing and able, but also to have an implement in hand or a costume on too.

We will do everything possible to let you know what you need. We have an easy to use checklist at the back of this thing in your hand. (Errr, do we?) (No - that'll be in the next one) (Oh! Okay).

We will also be giving you an idea of what is going on, mentioning what you could bring along to help with the particular item.

Michael Carroll has written a bit about Robert Rankin, which we of course have stolen.

In regard to Hotel bookings and all that, contact them yourself on the phone and book a room. We do not book rooms on your behalf. We negotiated a killer price for the weekend and after that it's up to you (see later for contact info).

The most important factor to the success of the convention is that YOU are prepared to have a laugh, give things a go, be a bit outrageous, come prepared and be ready for a seriously good time.

Forget about sleep, you will not want to miss what is going on, expect to do a few physical things, its okay if you cough up a lung or have a heart attack, we can use you as part of the Casualty Knock out.

Be ready to party, drink, make love, have sex, laugh, learn things that you don't want repeated while you are eating, dance, move on the dance floor like a joey, run around fields, jump out of moving mini buses, play with toys, bounce up and down, listen, talk and most of all meet 200 people who want to do all that as well.

At this stage we still have time in hand and if you have an idea which is stunning, or think that you could help us in any way, drop us a line.

What is important is that we get people to come along. With this you will find a poster and a couple of flyers, please put them somewhere useful and feel free to photocopy them.

If you are up for it, we are probably doing it.
