Where the Hell Is the Hotel Then?

The address is the Shepperton Moat House, Felix Lane, Shepperton, Middx, TW17 8NP for those of you who are postmen. 01932 899988 for those who work in telecommunications.

Any ideas on how to get there?

Trains

Trains from London go from either Waterloo (straight) or Victoria (change at Clapham Junction). Waterloo is your best bet.

Wherever you get into London from, when you get there and get on a tube - buy a one day travelcard for zones 1-6 costing £4.70 this will take you all over the underground for a day, and will save you money on the train to Shepperton too! Waterloo is on the Northern and Bakerloo underground lines (the black and brown ones on the tube map) and Victoria is on the light blue one.

We have been advised that the fare is £5.10 single or £2.00 if you have a 1-6 travelcard. Returns are just double (so don't bother incase you lose your trousers over the weekend with the ticket in).

Trains leave on a Friday at 16.03, 16.33, 17.03 etc up to 23.57 and the journey takes about 50 mins.

Trains leave on a Sunday back to London at 18.07, 19.07 etc up to 23.07.

The hotel is a mile or two (more accurate next report) from station and can be walked. You can always hang out at the local cab firm and look for other weirdoes to share with!

Driving

OK, the hotel has a large FREE car park (none of your come to our Con and pay a fortune for parking type things - oh no!).

Find your own way to the M25 (make sure you take it in the right direction or you'll have a very long drive). From there get on to the M3 heading towards London. At junction 1, take a left onto the A308, also known as West Staines Road. Turn left again onto the A244 or Windmill Road (this will take you back over the M3, but don't worry). Follow this straight on to the second roundabout, where you turn left. Take the next right which will take you past the marina down to the hotel.

Here's a map of how to get there from the M25 (that's the big car park around the outside of London) if you can't find it from this - GIVE UP!

Walking

The pavement system around the UK is pretty crap, so watch yourself and don't tread on any cracks. Buy a map and allow several weeks journey time.

Boats

Find your way to Shepperton Marina, and walk 2 mins from there. We haven't checked into it, but you probably have to pay extortionate docking fees.

UFO's and Helicopters

You may use the heli-pad, but please let us know in advance so we may flour bomb you, you rich buggers!
