Wll, the current events in the spidey universe and the upcoming Civil War event means spidey is getting himself a nifty looking new costume.

Bets on how long it will be until they bring the old one back?

Iron-man colours too. I reckon after Civil War or House of M they'll reset it back.

I'd give it about five minutes before they change it back. Damn that's one ugly outfit.

But at least it doesn't have the little web wings. The web wings just make me laugh!

It's a Fake!

The lads in thirt place explained it. Ever so often Joe Qusada (eic marvel comics) like to play a bit of a joke. He sketched it up and had somone give it one pass in photoshop.

Think about this seriously, would you launch the new look for your best selling charicter by putting out one bad pen sketch; or would you have a lovely detailed and colored version with a full background?

ah James I see you've already fallen for the Marvel spin doctors "it's just a Joe Quesada joke" line now that the initial poor response is in....i'm predicting the new coke/classic coke gambit and we'll soon see the return of the "classic" costume. After the near universal condemnation of irish fandom for the new costume we will surely see its swift demise Smile

Actually, Is that why you like Crow T Robot?
No legs there. Also good sense of humor.

Bad Iron Man. No. Spidey has more than enough limbs, thank you mister Stark (he must have been drunk when he was designing it. I hear he's off the wagon Razz )

As for Crow T. Robot, him and Tom Servo are amongst my favourite robots. Maybe because of their inarticulate limbs, who knows?

Gee, what's wrong Tom Servo? You look as upset and downtrodden as a little robot with inarticulate limbs can be

I just want to say that I LOVE Tom Servo. I almost weapt diring the heartfelt moment when he saw his mother in that awful movie with he giant crickets.

He was in the audience, she was stage dressing. Playing a humble gumball machine with grace and poise. He shouted out to her form the audience... MA! MA! LOOK OVER HERE! IT'S ME! MA!

It was incredable. Crying or Very sad

There was a point to this thread to this origionally right? Oh yes. Iron Spidey...

Have you read the Iron Man extreemis arc? the new Iron Man suit is quite cool. looks about he same but has fantastic new Ellis style tech features.

once he's got the bio mechanical tech flowing through his body I guess he can hand his spares off to the kid who had one flash of brilliance but never went anywhere with it.

I mean, webshooters, the web fluid. That rocked.. where did his brains go?
