Issue 30 - 2003-02-27
Due to unforeseen circumstances (my eldest daughter is in her school debating team, and for the first time ever they are in the quarter finals. I've been at every one of her debates and I'm not going to miss one now. Anyway the girls think I'm cool and would probably kill me if I was not there) I will not be available on March 4th.
Therefore the SciFi Club Awards will be postponed till May, and the closing date for votes will now be April 27th.
The March night will now be a special Show & Tell night by the Mad Hatters of Sci-Fi. Feel free to bring along any strange or unusual possessions you have and show them off.
The April meeting takes place on April 1st, so it seemed appropriate to get Michael Carroll to talk about hoaxes and conspiracies.
Details of future meetings, as well as the voting form for the SciFi Club Awards can be found on our website at http://www.lostcarpark.com/sfclub
See you at a meeting soon, and enjoy our stand-in hosts on March 4th.
Frank and James
