Irish Writer Launches SF Novel

Irish Writer Launches SF NovelDublin-based writer, Michael Carroll's new science fiction novel, The Throwback will be released by American publisher Cosmos Books later this year. This is Michael's first SF novel for adults, and it will be eagerly awaited by his growing body of fans.

Michael's first book, The Last Starship, and it's sequels have also been taken up by Cosmos. We've been waiting many years to find out what happens, after the original publisher went bust. Cosmos have also taken up Renegade, another of Michael's unpublished early works.

Proving he is as versatile as he is prolific, Michael also has his second novel under the pseudonym Jaye Carroll due out in June. The Sweetest Feeling is targeted at the women's romantic fiction market, but if the previous novel was anything to go by, it should be very readable by anyone.

Michael will be a guest at this year's Octocon, so it will be exciting to have a body of new work to ask him to sign.

We are very pleased that Michael is finally getting the attention he deserves and we all expect this is the start of a long and prosperous writing career.
