The Mighty One comes to Ireland!

Great news for all 2000 AD fans: Ol' green-bonce himself, The Mighty Tharg, will be appearing at this year's Octocon!
Matt Smith has been editor of the Galaxy's Greatest Comic for the past thirty months or so... Under his leadership, the quality of the comic has increased immensely. 2000 AD is now possibly the strongest it's ever been in its twenty-seven-year history: creative, enthralling, provocative and as witty as ever.
Matt will be talking about the past, present and future of the comic, its characters and creators, and if you're a budding writer or artist, bring along your scripts or portfolio: Matt personally deals with all submissions to 2000 AD, and is always on the lookout for the next Garth Ennis or Steve Dillon!
Octocon takes place on 16th and 17th October, 2004, at the Glenroyal Hotel, Maynooth, Co. Kildare.
