Concise!

Concise!Concise is a miniature one-night convention run by the Octocon committee... It's taking place in Bowe's Pub, Fleet Street, Dublin 2, on Tuesday August 3rd, starting at about 8pm (ish). At Concise we will attempt to hold an entire convention in the course of a single evening!

Yes, in the space of about two hours or so, we're going to try to cram in as many convention events as possible; panels, workshops, videos, a raffle, a quiz, a masquerade, dealers, a disco (yes, really!) and more. We even have special guests; Roger Gregg and Michael Scott have agreed to take part (work schedules permitting, of course).

There will also be the Great Concise Auction, at which you'll be able to bid on books, movies, comics and rare memorabilia, including...

An (almost) complete set of Star Trek: The Next Generation videos!

An original Judge Dredd script signed by John Wagner!

Three seasons of Babylon 5 on VHS!

A set of brand-new Warhammer novels!

A Star Trek book signed by Nichelle Nichols!

Mint-condition 1970s Doctor Who and Space 1999 annuals!

A bloody enormous and highly-collectible Batman Returns cinema poster!
