Ultimate Signing in Dublin for Tsunami Relief

Mon 17th Jan 2005

Ultimate Signing in Dublin for Tsunami ReliefComic toy and game emporium; the 3rd Place, is presenting a comic book signing with a difference at the end of the month. Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch the premiere creative team behind Marvel Comics The Ultimates will be in the 3rd Place, located just off dame street beside the Foggy Dew.

Mark Millar has written titles such as Ultimate X-Men, Ultimate War, Ultimate Fantastic Four, The Authority, Superman Red Son and his own creator owned project Wanted. Which has become the best selling independent comic of all time. Bryan Hitch has worked throughout the comic industry for many years on titles such as the Authority, X-Men, Death's Head and of course The Ultimates. He is also working on production designs for the upcoming Dr Who Movie.

Besides being somewhat of a coup for Irish comic signings, the 3rd Place are putting the event to good use by asking that for every book signed in store, a donation of at least a euro be given to their tsunami relief fund.
