Who's that?
Mon 2nd Jul 2001
Dr Who may be off the televisual airwaves, but he lives on in audio. British company Big Finish Productions has been producing audio plays on tape and CD using actors from the show. Now Anthony Stewart Head, better known as Giles from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, may be joining the cast. The company has confirmed that it has approached Head to play the role of the villan in a new trilogy of audio plays.
The latest news, is that while Head has not yet agreed to come onboard the project, he hasn't said no either.
Head is reported to be leaving Buffy as a regular, becoming a recurring character instead. He plans to return to the UK to spend more time with his family. However, he won't be leaving the character of Giles. The BBC is in talks with Buffy creator Joss Whedon to develop an entirely new series based around Giles.
