The Unofficial Cinema Going Committe is staging another outing to see The Chronicles of Narnia tonight at the Cineworld (formerly the UGC) on Parnell street.
They'll be going to the 8:15 show and meeting in the bar around 7:15-7:30.
If you've already seen it come by for a repeat viewing or pick something else and compare notes with your fellow sci-fi and fantasy fans afterwards.
Hope to see you there,
U.C.G.C. _________________ nemo me impune laccesit |

I don't hold out much hope for that one, meself - purely judgeing on the trailer though. I disapprove of pointless use of wire-fu, which it seems to have in abundance. Of course, I could be wrong - I have a UGC card so I'll probably go anyway _________________ "Well believe me, Mike, I calculated the odds of this succeeding versus the odds I was doing something incredibly stupid... and I went ahead and did it anyway. I know -the trailer looked cr*p didn't it, even for charlize fans.
Bring on X men 3, Serenity 2 and all the other mediocre sequels...

I loved watching the MTV airing of Aeon Flux. I so hope the movie is as wierd and messed up, lets hope there is no plot, just a series of disjointed images and zero logic. |

Ya know I searched some websites for a Latin/English translation and I discovered something surprising. There are sites charging money for doing it.
I don't know what to think about that. |

Chip, I think the phrase is the Scottish national motto....if not it is a family motto of some Scot. A scottish professor of mine first translated it for us curious students as "don't f**k with me"
Your free latin translation is "No one provokes me with impunity"
now quit grousing about getting nothing for free on the interent anymore
Maybe Aeon Flux would be a good candidate for the next UCGC outing....I too have fond memories of watching it on MTV those many years ago....I think they still played a little music back then even... _________________ nemo me impune laccesit |
