I saw it with a few hundred fans at Eastercon, it was bloody fantastic. _________________ I am a cranky bastard, yearning for peace and enlightenment. |

Love this season so far. Wpn't say much about tonight's episode in case people haven't seen it year, but the guest stars were fantastic.
Will bring the first two episodes on CD on Tuesday. |

Saturday's episode was one of the best yet. Possibly the best of the new series. For a show about time travel, Dr Who has only occasionally had stories that really are about time travel rather than just hopping into a point in history.
And that ending - not a dry eye in the house.
Next week... Cybermen! |

Anyone see last weeks? An interesting type of story, considering that the Doctor was only in it for about 5 minutes...
But I liked it, it's telling the story from a different angle. Kinda reminded me of The Tangled Web of Spider Man comics (where they told spidey-stories from non-spidey angles) _________________ "Well believe me, Mike, I calculated the odds of this succeeding versus the odds I was doing something incredibly stupid... and I went ahead and did it anyway.
