Went to see Batman Begins last night and it was very very good, surprisingly so. I thought the actors carried off the various characters very well, with Gordon by Gary Oldmn, being perfect.

I loved the car, and kit, and thought that Liam Neeson also played a stormer.
Sorta just shows you how the apprentice/master type thing should work - Mr Luckus.

It was great, very enjoyable, and makes me want to go back and read frank Millers Year One, batman comic, as although its not connected, it had that - feel.

Hmmm, sounds good. I'm in town tomorrow evening. Anyone fancy meeting up to go see it?

Saw it on Thursday - very good (and I'm that much of a comics fan) - but I enjoyed it - it felt 'real'

Saw it tonight. Excellent stuff! Really built up a believable back story.

Jack was entralled, and was saying "we have to get that on DVD or video" as the credits were rolling up.

Funny - my pal said she wants the DVD as well, but probably not for the same reasons - something to do with Bale doing push ups

I'm with your friend on that one, Frank.

Really enjoyed it second time around, first time we were sitting far too close to the screen, and the fast edits made following the action sequences very difficult. If anyone hasn't gone yet and plans to, make sure you sit well back.

I thought this movie was well done. Christian Bale was great, as well as Gary Oldman. I agree that the backstory was believable and well written.
