The members of The Unlikely Society have been split between going to see Ice Age 2 or Alien Autopsy next Saturday 8th of March,
What are your thoughts on this.
I dont mind which film we see, it is the group experience and the chat afterwards that gets me. |

I agree it's more about the common experience regaurdless of the film.
I just have verry little intrest in a film starting Ant and Dec. Of the seven jokes in the advert, five were about scaring people by being dressed up in a silly way.
Mabye it's just that grudge I bear them for trying to go up against DrWho.

Hello
I vote for Ice Age 2! Looks cool. I think Franck vote for that as well.
But we're open to see what the other thinks
Bon voila

Like Chip I'm all in for the shared experience, but Mr. Brophy makes an excellent point.....I too hate Ant and Dec. Thus I'm compelled in this case to vote for Ice Age 2 _________________ nemo me impune laccesit |

19:45, that gives everyone time to eat and have some time for a drink later. |

Yes, I noticed they were all for computer animated movies, and most ofthem looked crap. The one about the hedge looked good, though. And, of course, we know Cars will be amaziong. That leaves at least three CGI movies that seem to be clones of what has gone before.
There was a time when computer animation was expensive enough that you could be fairly sure they had to have a good story and an original idea to make it worth their while. It seems that time is long gone. |

Pity the same can't be said for early computer made Comic Books.
I think americans have a diffrent perspective on the new Pixar film...
For those who dont know, nascar is when you take a production car, strip it down install a roll cage and then you make it drive circles for an hour. They call this a sport. Yes. They really do.
I'm just kidding. I'm shure Cars will rock. Anyone else herd about Pixar being asked how to make disneyland work better? _________________ James
